Davis Valve has the knife gate valve you need.

With more than 1000 knife gate valves in stock and four different models to choose from, Davis Valve has the knife gate valve you need.

Our knife gate valves are available out of stock with hand wheels, gears, chain wheels, or quick opening levers as well as air cylinders. Our valves are stocked in CF8 (304 SS), CF8M (316 SS), and CG8M (317 SS). Other alloys can be supplied with a factory delivery. We stock knife gates from 2" to 36".

Every Davis knife gate has a solid one piece cast body with integrally cast gate jams and guides. They are full port and designed with blow out proof packing glands and nylock locking nuts.

Our valves are designed and tested to Tappi TIS 405-8 and MSS-SP81 standards. Our full lug pattern flanges conform to ASME B16.5.

#60: Our model number 60 is a unidirectional metal seated knife gate with a heavy precision machined beveled gate that cuts through solids and slurries and cleans the seat while it closes. Metal seated knife gates are not designed to be drip tight but are ideal for rugged applications involving pulp, slurries, and solids.

#61: Our model number 61 is a unidirectional Viton rubber seated knife gate with a bolted in seat. This seat is very easy to replace in the field. The #61 has a positive shut off and can be used in vacuum applications. Other seats such as Teflon, RTFE, EPDM, and polyurethane are also available.

#63: Our model number 63 is a bi-directional resilient seated full slide through knife gate. The dual bolted in seats are always protected from the media flow by the sliding gate, making this valve ideal for use in powders such as cement and phosphate. Various seats such as Teflon, RTFE, Viton, EPDM, and polyurethane are available, and they can be easily changed in the field.
